Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbours, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.

Rotary International in its mission to minimise borders offers a “Rotary Youth Exchange Program” which provides an opportunity for thousands of youngsters to visit a new country, travel, meet different people and experience new cultures, planting the seeds for a lifetime of international understanding.

Living in a foreign country is a powerful way to gain global understanding and promote peace. Through Youth Exchange, students learn a new language, discover different cultures and customs, and make friendships that last a lifetime.

Every year Rotary facilitates exchanges of over 9000+ Young Students. In the Year 2018-2019 (Before Pandemic), 9333 students across continents have participated in RYE
Exchanges for students ages 15-19 are sponsored by Rotary clubs in more than 100 countries
Around 4500 Schools around the world agree and welcome Rotary Long-Term Exchange Students
RYE is open for Youth of Rotarians and Non-Rotarians both
15000+ people around the world have served as Host Families to Exchange Students
Both Short-Term and Long-Term Exchange programs are affordable and partially sponsored by Rotary International

About District 3054

Rotary District 3054 is situated on the Western side of India and primarily comprises areas of state of Gujarat and Rajasthan. District 3054 has around 184 Rotary Clubs.

Rotary Youth Exchange programs have been active in our District for 9 years. Majority of the youth that participated in these Programs have come with innumerable experiences and learnings.

We have encouraged this program in the district with great appreciation and have received a massive response every year. District 3054 is a community of friends, family and leaders, all intact with high Rotary spirits. Our youth is one of our important assets and Rotary International has given us this opportunity to build on Youth Leadership through the RYE Programs.
